Hi guys, i'm new here. nakit an ra ni nako nga siite kay ngita ko ug lain nga martial arts. I was once an Aikidoka started at the age of 26, that was 10yrs ago. Murag mag teenager pa mo atong panahuna, hehehehe, maybe i saw some of you kung sa baseline mo ga practice or maybe san carlos main or those studying under Sensei Romy Kho. Wala ko kaabot sa belts nga kasagaran ninyo nakuha karon due to my work pero naka train ko beyond the required training for a green belt or higher. Pero dugan na sad kaayo ko ming undang pero kabalo gihapon ko.

For those who are not into it yet, go for it and try. Its worth every penny you spend and worth every pain you get to endure while learning. There's no shame in learning this martial arts.

I have a good book on Aikido, not an original copy though, ngita pa ko sa internet kung naa pay available and some other references. I was able to download recently 2 documentary of Steven seagal including Aikido: the path beyond thought (full film) naa sa ako pc pero dili nako ma copy to a disc kay wala koy dvd writer. I will try to check how I can share it from my pc. Anyone interested ingna lang ko.

Are you all from Cebu? If its a yes, why not have a get together sometime barkadahan lang gud. Any thoughts?

Check this old book, Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere: An Illustrated Introduction by Adele Westbrook and Oscar Ratti, its a very detailed one. barato na sya karon sa amazon.com

Go for it.... it's a good opportunity specially for those still practicing and doing trainings. makasulay gyud mo didto... layo pa bitaw to. more or less siguro at least naa kay P15T pocket money, not sure sad unsa kataas ang cost didto karong panahona.

wa na ko ga practice for 5years. i do some exercises lang. i stopped tungod sa akong nature of work, sige travel pilipinas ug sa physical limitations. ganahan ko mobalik, no idea lang ko sa mga club or dojo karon.
