Dapat mag palahi ta sa Pilipinas ug magtukod ta ug Republic of Cebu! Wala may labot ang Cebu sa problema sa Pilipinas... makuhaan lang ta ug taxes unya gamiton ra didto sa Manila. Kung eleksyon sakto sad nga mga lider ang piliion sa Cebu. Mga taga Manila ra man ang mo-botar kang Erap ug Villar... Apil-apilon lang ta sa ilang problema kay dili sakto ilang ibutang sa gobyerno! Maypa mag Republic of Cebu na lang ta para lahi ang economy sa Cebu ug ma-develop ug ayo... Hahahaha...

i agree sa mga previous post here about lessening jeepneys and government run buses. beside jeepneys sometimes break down and cause traffic. this aint a popular idea but if done slowly then maybe in the next decade we could have a good transportation system like the ones in Singapore, hong kong, Korea etc. buses can carry more passenger than jeepneys, the lesser the vehicles in the road would translate to good vehicular flow and also environmental friendly.

mass transport too like trains is a good idea if kaya sa budget.

To remedy the slowing traffic of Cebu, I think, the City Government should implement one-way-lanes during the day for some heavily used roads, during peak hours of the day or even, permanently. Provincial Buses should have terminals outside the city, like the reclamation areas. Lastly, disenfranchise 10 years above cars. (This one will boost the economy as people will be encouraged to buy new cars). Ug kung walay kwarta ikapalit, to use the public transpo, thereby lessening the volume of cars on the road.
