I am married to a foreigner. Honestly, I knew he was the one because I loved the way he loved me (I still do). He was the only one who made me feel 100% safe and secure in the relationship. I KNEW in my heart that he would NEVER cheat on me. I've had pinoy bfs, pero ambot puros man badlongon oi. Sa pirmero lang maayo, then kadugayan mausab man ang batasan. Pinoys are very "macho", naa sila'y batasan nga dapat sila ang mo "prevail" sa relationship. With my husband, he treats me as an equal. He is not threatened by my success, he doesn't get insecure when good things happen to me at work. He doesn't tell me how to style my hair or how to wear my clothes. He doesn't put me down, doesn't make me feel like crap. And he makes me feel that I am indeed GOOD ENOUGH for him. Now, I don't know if that has anything to do with him being a foreigner or what, but as I've said, I love the way he loves me. And that's that. LOL

I am also married to a foreigner and I am glad and I am happy that I am.
Indeed, we should never judge people coz we don't know their motives, their goals, their situation or anything about them.

In my observation, (I and my friends always have a booth in SM or Ayala for real estate), we have seen a lot of Pinays together with a foreigner who just don't know how to carry themselves in public. They thought that because they are married to a foreigner, they should be wearing short shorts and flashy outfits, body fits even if it doesn't become her. My male co- workers would always make fun of them. They really look cheap and I am really embarrassed.

Believe me, nakakatawa talaga at nakakadegrade ang mga asta nila. Saan ka ba naman, and suot ay mini skirt, tapos body fit ang blouse na strapless or spaghetti eh ang bilbil limang palapag! And they thought na social sila and trying to look richy, naka high heel shoes na alangan sa outfit. O kaya naman sexy nga pero mukha talagang cheap manamit. Alam mo kung bakit? Dahil hindi na natural. Nagpupumilit magmukhang social ah di naman carry. Ah basta, kaya siguro napagkakamalang pokpok kahit hindi naman. Ibang-iba kasi ang transformation.

Just like Dorothea, I am happy with my husband. And mind you readers never wanted to go and live in US kaya kahit na pinadalhan na niya ako ng mga papers for imiigration before, I never filled it up and submitted it. And I never married him for money kasi di naman siya rich and I was never treated and loved by anyone like the way he treats me.

I am sorry if I won't impress you in case you will see me one day.

not all girls who married with a foreigner is living outside the country... naa jud uban na naa diri sa philippines nagpuyo coz as safe man sila diri... and love jud ang reason ana... coz willing gud mu live here in the phils.

I have a friend who told me katulo na siya nakauyab ug foreigner thru chatting, what really disturbs me kay mangayo man dyod daw silag naked pic sa iyaha, as in bisan top exposure lang, kay magsige na lagi padala ang foreigner ug money to support my pobre friend..ang akoa lang ba ani dyod ni sila? mangita dyod ug nakedness sa atoa mga babaye? ang nahitabo now kay gihangyo pako sa akoa friend na ako magpicture niya na topless siya kay maulaw daw siya sa lain.
Wow sige...(joke) hehehe..wait a minute....I dont think that Filipinas should be the one to adjust to the western cultures, sila ang nanguyab sa atoa mga babaye ngari, sila ang mo-adjust. Naglibog sad ko now, unsa akoa i-advice sa akoa friend. I mean is this kind of relationship all for lust? Unya raba ang mga email sa iya bf na foreigner naa dyoy about *** as always. Tsk! Tsk!
