as for me, I am now married but my ex will really try to communicate with me, for a reason that he misses me a lot, that he wants me more than his present gf now. So I was the one who make a move not to entertain him anymore, as a respect to both our partners and to ourselves. anyways, I've already thanked him for everything and was sorry for what had happened to us, as our past relationship is concerned.
