been to HK thrice, and bangkok once. personally i like bangkok, because of its rich culture and history. plus cheaper p jud ang bangkok. Pwde ka mamalit sa ila night market den imo baligya dri kai barato rajd ila stuff. hehe. However if you are into shopping and the city life, opt for HK. And if you wanna go to disneyland, definitely HK

oh, pahabol. don't stay in hotels near disneyland. layo from the city center and mahal!

i've stayed in the following hotels and hostels in HK. all of them have very good location.

Butterfly on Prat - Tsim Sha Tsui Area
Hotel Benito - Tsim Sha Tsui Area
Evergreen Hotel - Jordan/Yau Ma Tei Area
Dragon Hostel - Sincere House, Mongkok
Mei Mei Motel (Hostel) - Sincere House, Mongkok

if you're in a budget, best to go for hostels. be forewarned lang that most, if not all, hotels and hostels in HK have very small floor spaces.

i try to avoid the hostels in Chungking and Mirador Mansion in Tsim Sha Tsui because the building looks very rundown and scary to me. although cheap ra jud ila accomodation diri. safe ra man sad daw hinoon diri ingon sa ako sis. but di lang ko comfortable kaayo. i also prefer the hostels in Sincere House in Mongkok kay duol ra kaayo sa Ladies Market.

kowloon HK or Central HK mo pag stay.. nya kung laag2 mo ang recommend jud nako nga mga nice nga tourist spots kay ang HK disneyland ug Oceanpark HK.. Tc!

im planning to go to HK next year. around june or august. anyhow, according to frends sa HK disney land ug ocean park rai nindot sa HK. bati gani daw ang disneyland didto coz the colors are so dull. well thats according to them though. i plan to find out if what they told me is true pretty soon.

maan they should get in touch with their inner kid i enjoyed disneyland bisag di ko ganahan ug cartoons hehehehe alot of spots in HK if your looking for pure entertainment and really big a$$ rides there is also one in bangkok its called siam park city sa HK id still go to OCEAN PARK grabe ang rides! THE ABYSS!

for me, dili ra Disneyland and Ocean Park nindot sa HK. i also love NP 360 (the cable car), ngong pin village and the giant buddha, and of course, the peak tram ride and the peak. and the best ang shopping in HK if sale season nila.

di jud ka masaag sa hongkong tungod sa mtr and octopus card.. ahaha!

wa pa nuon ko kaadto ug bangkok pro i think nice jud ang HK..
