yes ekonomiya jd kaayo ang mu x ang sa amu standard manual ok ang ride soft kaayo ang suspension, nka drive nasad ko trailblazer 2.8 grabi kusgan jd kaayo same sa montero GLS V
This is just base on my experience. And lastly mas barato ang mux compare to fortuner..
for me, thats actually the best selling point of mu-x. at 1.39m (cebu) for the higher end AT, walay lain makalupig. ang trailblazer kay u have to go sa ilang 1.5 -1.6m for the same spec/interior amenities
im on my way there para magpa reserve. hehehe.
but my concern is, giving the numbers, medyo dehado gyud cya sa power-to-weight (kung base lang sa max. power) at 4000rpm compared to my 1st gen diesel tucson which is around the same sa trailblazer and other suvs. i dunno if it matters or di ni cya mu matter given na high man gyud ug torque ang diesel at lower rpms which is what we will feel from starting the vehicle or from climbing the hill. max power is the ability to push the speed hard which is wala man ta ana diri sa cebu. hahaha
maam kizzmeeh, unsa imo comment pagsaka sa mu-x? like adtong busay ba, compared to other vehicles?
Medyo bitay gyud ang 136PS kung tungas pareha dha sa busay.Kasuway ko dala low end variant sa montero 136PS medyo under power gyud pero kung city drive ok kaau.Mo matter gyud ang weight and power.
Ok, for the sake of discussion, unya sa ka grabe nakog hinuna-huna ani ganina kay traffic kaau padung city, here's my take.
Also, Im a cyclist/triathlete and a slave to my bike powermeter so all my rides are watt-based hehehe so I hated why this hasnt come to my mind earlier.
From starting position, we are only interested in engine torque. There has to be enough torque (twisting motion of the tires) to move the vehicle from 0 to ___ kph. Once moving, the law of acceleration kicks in, since we would be needing lesser and lesser torque. If we max out the power, then we move to the next gear and so on.
Maximum power at 100kw (136hp) occurs at 3,600 RPM so unless we are at 5th gear at 3,600RPM (I believe this will be more than 180kph) and wanting more, IMO, there really is no need to have more power like chevy power. The transmission and gear ratio will take care of our needs. I dont even think we will get to 5th gear if we are in Metro Cebu area. hahaha. Unless cguro if we really want to accelerate when overtaking, as to how much acceleration do we really need, I do not know yet.
Of course, this is just my thinking. I scheduled the agent for a test drive this Saturday at my place which is a 1,000 meter climb at 6-10% (my training ground) so I will really have a firsthand experience kung sakto ba akong theory. I am more concerned of this, not really the top speed kay I guess, 80kph for a big SUV is fast enough. hahaha
Will keep this thread posted.![]()
