I personally don't understand what's the fuss in here. I mean, it is just a status update. I know they are visible and all, but who asked you to scan through them and react afterwards? I find text GM's far more annoying. Just sayin'....

There is way to change your settings so only the updates of friends who you interact with the most show up on your News Feed. Go to the bottom of the News Feed, click "Edit Options", and select "Friends and Pages you interact with most" on the "Show posts from" drop down.

personally i also get annoyed. like why do people have to post their love notes for everyone to see? is there really a need for that?

Back in the old days, makabalita lang ka sa imo parente or imong kaila kung makadawat ka suwat or telegrama.

Karon, naa na'y facebook ultimo malibang sila ilang i-post.
Nagkaon ilang anak sa McDo ilang i-post.
Nag ilis ilang anak para sa summer camp, i-post.
Nag shopping sa Italy, i-post.

And 90% of these status updates are NOT interesting at all.

And 90% sa mga nag-like ana nga posts don't really like it.
Mao nang mogara kay magsige man sad mo ug LIKE bisan wa'y lami.

I'm not guilty of this, BUT, as a general rule for harmonious living, "WALANG BASAGAN NG TRIP"...
