Both companies are good. But be sure to understand the product or portfolio that you get.
Be sure to know the pros and cons of the product para dili ka mag mahay. Know the exact benefit and see to it that it is worth it.

If you want to grow your money for your long term, It is not advisable to place it in the bank because inflation will just eat up your money. Money in the bank is much riskier in the long term due to inflation. Make sure your money will grow more than the inflation rate of our country.

Look for a person that is not just an agent but a real Financial Advisor who can guide you.

pwede sad nimo bayaran imo premium online...not biggy but just convenience
(though MF performance is average compared to other player imo hehe)

I have invested in both (Sunlife and Philam) Mutual Funds

    PROS & CONS

Sunlife - has online account where you can see/track your investments, edit your personal details (address, phone, etc)
    - I can still get in touch with my agent even though the last time I invested was 3 yrs ago.
    - returns - competitive pod

PAMI - no online system, don't have a clue kung kinsa kontakon kung mag change ka imo details (address, phone, etc)
    - in relation to the first comment, wala nako idea asa hagilapon tung agent sauna, iya email ning bounced na. . .
    - Returns - competitive pod ila equity fund.
