our stock market has been breaking its own records for the past few weeks--hitting all time highs.
you will also notice movements of up to 50% in a single day. it has happened a few times last month and this month. (50% is the max % change a stock can move up to in a single day before the PSE suspends trading of the stock--this is to avoid manipulation)

the rise of the composite generally means that more and more money is being poured into the market (more buyers than sellers in terms of volume/value)
its either more people are investing, or the oldtime players are injecting more into the market.

also, have you noticed all the construction activities going around even if the price of construction materials have been moving up consistently?
have you also noticed a lot of new business are propping up?

i wonder what's the reason behind all the spending. suddenly people are spending and it is reflected by the stock market.

ps: if you are studying/monitoring/investing in the Phil. stock market, pls share your insights. i hope some experienced investors out there can give us a good idea on what's happening in our economy

you make money throug capital gains (if the price of your stock is higher when you sell it than when u bought it)

I love watching the stock market too! what's hot what's not. where are you investing in? mine is very conservative its in S&P 500. I get my statements quarterly. About Gold mine in Mindanao, where is that? better be sure there's gold in there kay daghan baya gold diggers over there if you have to invest in this, start out small and conservative. kay basin wala sab.

Its one wherein its needed all the time as part of our basic day to day so dinha mo invest. Investing in stocks is really like gambling and playing with your money. A few gains and losses here and there.
