BTW here's a new flight control system from Logitech. I hope its not as expensive as CH, TM or Saitek. At least karon mas dali na orderon kay Logitech man. Nindot pud siya kay split throttle so for twin engined jets like A-10 payter kaayo. DCS A-10C + this HOTAS + Reliable PC system = Hog Heaven

First and foremost, buy the software. Depending on your taste, these are the currently available flight simulator programs that can be bought from Datablitz here in Cebu:

Flight Simulator X (about PHP 3,200.00 last time I checked)


X-Plane 9.0 (got my copy for about PHP 2,400.00).


Both programs require at least a Pentium Dual Core or equivalent processor running at 3.0Ghz or higher, and at least an 8600GS nVidia video card, and make sure you have over 60 gig of HD space (for default files and later, addon files). These requirements are to ensure smooth framerates, a "must have" in flightsims. Meaning, you can probably run these programs on an older machine but your framerates will suffer. A joystick is optional, but it's highly recommended. Lots of Logitech joysticks at Octagon. For cheaper ones, there's CDR King.
