As long as the local population has no will to spend P500 for the entry fee and more on other things, then Enchanted Kingdom in Cebu will on remain a dream. That's just one factor.

How about other factors like:

1. Attracting tens thousands of foreign tourists into the theme park?
2. Making Cebu's fragile power supply more sufficient and stable?
3. Having nice land to build the theme park on?
4. Convincing tourists from nearby provinces to bring more money with them to enter the theme park?

I know a few local friends who literally cried with these ticket rates of Enchanted Kingdom. The irony? They are all office workers and think of the rates as super expensive.

A lot of locals I talked to found those figures "exorbitant".

This is okay na man. I have experienced EK already and it's fun and worth the price. specially the Space Shuttle. Although in some rides like the riverraft and go-kart, you have to pay. Okay na ni uy...

If only more people in Cebu would realize your perception that EK is truly worth the one-time, ride-all-you-can, P500 entry free.

Many of the people I talked to about EK said they are not willing to spend more than P50 for the entry, and they knew about the ride-all-you-can offers of EK for P500.

ka nindot ani ug matinuod oi.. i personally find their rates ok.. worth it man sd.. mas gnhn pa gni ko sa EK kaysa Disneyland HK nia mahal kaau ddto. hehehe..
