Doctor of Humanities(honoris causa) is not a Phd for your info bro. .being bestowed a degree in dr. of humaities (honoris causa) the honoree need not take nor be required to pass an examination. one is confered dr. of humanities (honoris causa) when he/she has excelled in humanitarian works e.g. helping out typhoon victims like what Pacquiao did to our unfortunate brothers and sisters of typhoon Frank and being able to give the Philippines and Asia much pride thru his triumphs in boxing., .

to give you a piece of history, Vilma Santos was before given a Doctorate degree in humanities(honoris causa) for her excellence in the field of dancing and of course acting.

Pacquiao is way more deserving than politicians being granted the aforesaid degree who most of them are corrupt!

I don't think Manny deserves this Doctorate degree, It's enough for me that he's our what we called "Peoples Champ of the Philippines" Remember when he ran as a congressman in their place in General Santos City? He doesn't win because the people loves him for being a "Boxing Icon" not a POLITICIAN!

Maybe this doctorate degree awarded to him is another political motivated exposure.....
