ask lang naku si EZRA...bai kanang imong notes about montero what year model mana siya gi based?...

is it based on the all new montero nga nigawas ngari sa amo... kay if dili so it means malalis nana karon..

kay every new look sa car sometimes ang carmakers usbon sad ang mga previous problems... or kung sa sa net pa bug fixes...hehehe
    Sa 1997-2004 Montero Sport.

Well of course it's all fixed .. mao bitaw gi recall. Most of the defects ipang recall man gyud na bisag kinsa nga manufacturers. All I'm trying to say is that if mo pinpoint man lang ug defect, dili unta mo focus sa car stereo kay dali ra kaayo ang solution ana.

Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?

  5. #145
@ EZRA, based man diay gani na sa old model... nganong gi post paman na nimu.... wa na nay basis if imo sad imo e pinpoint about defects sa montero karon...kay mura bag mibawos lang ka kay suko ka na naay defects or problems ang stereos karon sa toyota... mao na imo sad dayon post defects sa montero nga sa KARAANG model man diay....hayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

The power figures of the facelift Fortuner and Montero Sport are almost the same. But they differ on the drivetrain(gears) used by each manufacturer on the models. That is why the Fortuner is much heavier when you accelerate compared to using a Montero Sport. Book/schedule for a test drive among different car makers of their diesel powered SUV's and you'll know the difference (Isuzu Alterra, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento, Ford Everest, Mits Montero, and Toyota Fortuner). Toyota diesel engines are the heaviest to accelerate.

Regarding fuel efficiency, the 3.0L D4D Fortuner runs 6 to 8 Km/L. While the Montero uses same engine used in the "Pajero (which runs 6 to 7 Km/L)" which is a 3.2L DiD engine runs 7 to 9 Km/L. These are based on cebu like traffic.

@ kenny tiu: yup nindot gyud ug ride, mahay gani ko hehehe makig exchange nlng tingale ko sa ako dadi ani hehehe ako younger brother who's in highschool dre cebu palitan ta namo sakyanan we were planning vios unta pero since bati gyud kaau quality ang toyota we're thinking basi lancer nalang

We have both '04 Limited and Sports from Montero ( location in US ) like what you said , we should have bought a Toyota pero bali ang imoha . We should have instead got a 4Runner and a Sequioa pero OT na ni . Wala mi nagmahay sa MItsu but Toyota could have been better .

Luxury in models doesnt end up in CAR AUDIO . The price doesnt end up in NEW MODELS . The satisfaction doesnt end up in who has more recalls from the factory . BTW .... TSIKOT.COM ? C'mon ! Its not an official website where it can vouch every detail shelled out for verification . Propaganda ra dong , member ka didto ? I stop posting there about 8 years ago . Kami nila KIMPOY ug OTEP nag pioneering ana TSIKOT.COM since mga renegade mi sa una sa KOTSE.COM tungod kay bulabog na kaau didto . ANyays .... since you want to use TSIKOT.COM as a medium , heres one for the latest updates :

    american cars don't apply here....

i am comparing feature for feature

Montero uses plastics for interior... so does the Fortuner.... I am sure they got the same price for it from the supplier of plastics...

Leather seat for montero.... leather seats for Fortuner... for sure they got almost the same if not the same price from seat makers....

steel for the body and frame.... surely di mag layo ang price sa pag kuha from steel manufacturers between toyota and mitsubishi... both are made in Thailand By the way... The Detroit of Southeast Asia.

that is why I said with most things being equal...

Sa Stereo pa lang pwerteng ka bya-an ang FOrtuner sa Montero.......... that tells me who gives more value to my money.... I can say and conclude its cheap... but TOYOTA charges you a lot for IT.... in a way its NOT CHEAP but TOO EXPENSIVE for the FEATURE...

so in other words you are paying more for a toyota... just because they think they are reliable and durable... well people will get smarter than that....

other manufacturers are catching up.... mitsubishi for all their financial problems... LOCAL mitsubishi models are built tough also.... Surplus pajero still has good resale value...

    People want VALUE FOR MONEY....

FYI... L200 pick up was very very reliable.... 1992 pa
