it depends how you deal with them. whenever i pass checkpoints, i always say good morning/evening tsip. and ask politely if they have permit to do such checkpoint. then, after seeing the permit i show them my papers. it's your approach that matters. if you're rude then you get the same treatment. if you sound sarcastic and malicious then it's his right as a person to react the same. these cops are just ordinary persons. we show them respect they'll give us respect. and doing a checkpoint is as dangerous as it could be, so they too don't wanna be there as you do. they are just merely following orders. so be nice to them..

per my experience regarding check points mostly they (cops) are polite to us motorist, but not all of them..

show them the utmost-respect lng kay mao mana akong ginabuhat dn in return maau sd ilang pagtagad nako.. ang style nako kay naa check point mo signal jd ko ana pa right dn hunong showing nga andam ko magpa check and luckily 3 times nako wla g.check so far sa kana nga ginabuhat nako.. hinoon naa sd jd uban nga sarcastic kaau bisan og maau na kaau imong pagtagad nya ingnun ra daun ka nga "lisensya og rehistro nya" mkalgot huna2x-on pero palabay lng wla mn sad mawala sa akoa kay wla mn sd ko violation. dn naa sd jd mga lapses sa ilang gitawag nga SOP pero same ra japon nato nga naa ta mga gibuhat sa dalan nga kahibaw ta nga violation.. sabtanay lng jd ta kay naa man maau nga nakuha sa ilang cge og check point.. bow

13. Operating / driving a motor vehicle which is unregistered / improperly Registered
- if committed by the driver without the knowledge and Consent of the owner/operator 2,000.00
- if the driver is also the processor of the subject motor vehicle 4,000.00
- in both cases the motor vehicle shall be impounded or the plates if any shall be confiscated and shall not be released until properly registered.

Nadakpan ko ganiha..ako gipakita akong OR/CR,conduction permit and permit to use temporary plate until my plate number will arrive which a stamp and signed by Chief Alita C. Pulga,Cebu City District Office last July 5, 2010

Violations daw nako:
1. Unregistered Motor Vehicle?
2. Expire conduction permit since wala pa akong plate number?
3. No plate attach and sayop daw ang temporary number nga akong gigamit?

FIRST, ngano gud intawon unregistered akong MV nga pagpalit naa mana free registration and naay OR/CR pirting klaroha OR ang pulis ba kaha and hepe nila wala ka klaro

SECOND, ngano gud expire akong conduction permit nga gibayran mana didto kanang dili naka magsige ug parenew, gipa.extend hangtod kanus.a makuha ang plate number...

THIRD, no plate attach? Unsa sila mga buta,kadako anang plate number ang nakalibog pa gyud ang naa sa OR/CR AND CONDUCTION PERMIT kato nga number akong gamiton 7CY*** and ana ang pulis sayop daw dapat kato daw ****** dapat BUT niana ang taga suzuki kato daw 7CY*** kay mao nay naka.upload sa ilang data dili daw katong ******...nangutana ko niya unsa akong buhaton kung di pa gyud maabot akong plate para dili nako ninyo parahon and etc..ang iyang tubag ipaprocess daw nako,in my mind follow up kapila nako sige follow up pero wa pa gyud gihapon...

Pag.CHECKPOINT nila ganiha sa Jagobiao infront of abs cbn nga traffic..walay strobe lights naka ON,wala signage unsa ug kinsa na sila, mopara mura ra nagpara ug jeep nya di pa gyud ta ka klaro nila kay naghout ang mga sakyanan nya atong mata naa gyud na sa road dili nila...

Expire conduction permit ra na imong violation oi. wala tingali ka nag dala ug copy sa imong updated conduction permit? tanaw sa pulis july 5 paman.. kani man gud uban pulis murag suhito na jud kaayo sa mga violation sa LTO ba..

Dili gyud ni expire bai..kay gilukatan nani no expiry and signed by the chief last july 5 nga valid akong permit until makuha akong plate...mao lage..hasola..i dont even think so if he knows what he is doing same with their chief...

mga master how to ask politely sa kanang mga checkpoint if naa ba clay paper to operate a checkpoint?

for me, i will not ask about it para wa na daghan hasol...cause usually for them its an insult maybe for them...just like what ive experienced last night...no signage,no stobe lights..its an sop or rules that they should have that inorder for the motorist to know and erase doubt that they dont have any permits to conduct a checkpoint...
