ABS-CBN in the Philippines has picked up the rights to the show for a local version, entitled Pinoy Fear Factor, that will be filmed in South America. There's no confirmation yet if the series will be shot entirely in the entire South America or just in Argentina like what was written in a broadsheet. As of now, its format has not been confirmed, but early teasers for the show hint a major revision from the common three stunt, one winner per episode format. Its top prize is expected to be Php 2,000,000.00. The host is still not confirm.
