Yes, the looks plays a big part in the whole package. By "boy next door" I mean someone you can take home to meet your parents. Its all about the American psyche. They may be fascinated with and have a fling or two with the garish and pompous but they'll always come back to the subtle and low key. Like in life.

I loved their guests! Adam really "belongs" to the rock group Kiss. Amazing performance even when humble Kris won the trophy.

The funniest shocker of all was Kara's flasher move after her duet with the bikini girl. Kara was flashing "for charity" daw!

Nakatulog jud ko while watching queen latifa, lil, etc. but pag perform sa KISS, nisiga balik ako mata, then queen then rod stewart, then carlos. Wow. It was a superb show. Nice kaayu ang ila variety show compared to our own noon-time variety shows. ahehe
