Kay kanang talent sa driver ba makita na sa other kind of motor sports sa drag wala kaayo ngano mangita man ka ug talent sa drag racing na its the simplest form of motor racing anha ka sa go cart, rally, autocross, circuit racing, slalom, formula racing, GT racing ug uban pa ayaw lang ug sulti sa man and machine sa drag racing kay wala kaayo nay epecto kay ngano man its just a stupid straight line quarter mile. And unsay gi pasabot nimo talent? consistency sa pag drive in drag racing? Mao bitaw nay gamit sa mga aftermarket ecu na imong awto inig dagan mura nag automatic so where is the talent there? And again its a f*** straight line that ends in a quarter mile. With all the technologies right now and again its a straight line nga kutob ra sa quarter mile unsa man nga talent makit-an sa drag? And lastly if I join in the class D bracket what kind of fun would I have naa ba nay G force ma feel nimo ana nga ordinaryo man kaayo ng mga awtoha. And by the way I hope smart lang sad mo gamay ba kay kanang bracket racing gi himo na para maka kwarta ang mga organizers but again ni ingon ko ninyo kung e research na ninyo sa una pa wala nay bracket bracket mano e mano gyud na bay! Gi himo lang nang bracket racing para maka kwarta sila. And again guys mao bitaw na ni apil ta ug racing because of speed. By the way apil man gyud mo ug racing please look for the definition of racing sa dictionary. Simple ra ning racing first things first develop your car as fast as you can look and hire the best mechanics and engineers to do it then and only then you look for the driver quote from the living legend himself Mr. Enzo. Mga bay thats why we race because of fun and you know why its fun its because of the hard thumping on your heart, the adrenalin pumping thru your vains becasue of that G f*** FORCE that pushes you around every time you put the pedal to the metal! i never mentioned that i am a professional race car driver. i even mentioned that i salute those driver who drives with consistency ky they r really good. just would like to ask u. if u have a very fast car. do u think u could get the full potential of ur car if your not really a good driver? i think no. simple logic is base on experience there was a time nga 3 drivers have tried driving just one car (same set up). but each drivers have different times. so that means mo matter pod na who drives the car. actually bro theres no point to argue ani nga matter ky first of all thats the kind of race that we have here. maybe u try to create ur own drag race event nga only the fastest car could join that race. its tru nga before mano y mano ang race because i have joined that before also thats why thankfull ko nga naa na ang bracket racing ky at list everybody will be given the chance like us who is judt on a limited budget. maybe u have a very fast car bro thats y ur not contented with this kind of bracket racing. ky ako bro contented raman ko kng unsa naa sa ako. but of cors who wouldnt want to have the fastest car and win a race.

thats why gani most racers would envy DGL coz he could afford to have the fastest car now in the philippines. dli na sayon to have that. u need to have the money to build one.

its true nga organizers mka kwarta but at list still many are thankfull to have a drag racing event nga ni happen. wala man cguro mo organize ug event bro nga dli gusto mka ginansya. its business.

@ Uwag: Bia we got no beef with ya so stay cool... This is a free forum wherein everyone gets to post his/ her own opinions...
While Usrolla & I have the same view on this issue, I don't recall us making accusations or downgrading your views. So I hope you'll be more cordial in posting next time...

That being said, there are a few points I'd like to point out:

1. Us being pro drivers - neither of us were claiming such

2. Man & machine wala effect sa drag racing - read Usrolla's example

3. Using aftermarket ECU's para mura automatic ang dagan - programmable boxes are mainly used to match your engine mods with the proper computer program & deliver the best fuel mapping (rich & lean stuffs), but in no-way directly affect the driving skills of the person.
I think you're referring to the sequential gear box in which only Class A guys use (here in Cebu)

4. Bracket racing gi himo para maka kwarta - Partly you're right but mainly because it's to even the level of playing field. Who would want to race a stripped down turbo charged DOHC engine with a SOHC engine

These are just tid-bits of info which I hope you'll regard as un-intrusive.
Nobody's here to pick a fight. A simple board where we can learn from the views and expertise of others...

thats our point here uwag..just share ur views and well share ours. of cors we cant force u to agree with us all the way the same way u have some points also nga sakto that we agree. but then again lets enjoy the kind of drag race that we have here in the philippines and most of all dri cebu. ang drag race bro is dli man pugsanay..if u want to join ur welcome kng dli, ok rapod. basta as for me i enjoy joining eventhough my car is not a very fast car. basta ni apil ko for the love of the sport. regardless unsa ang history. its still a sport that i enjoyed so much.

dgl has the best cars because they are in the tranportation business.
im a big fan of their skyline and evo;

so whoever beats dgl has to be recognize because dcl is a giant.

i like the open braket division or the quickest eight. that is for the harcore fans.

mga race fans. kinsa may mga sikat ana nga division nga nakapildi sa favorite dgl.
kinsa may mga maayong laki ana nga division.

before ang record ni DGL na pildi ni jonathan tiu of manila pero na break mapod niya sa last race dri cebu.....but i think daghan mo try ug break ana nga record sa next race ni DGL w/c is 9.8 secs 1/4 mile

dgl is the benchmark. they need to beat his record para exciting.

i was at the first and third adrenaline rush.

those were the only race that i been to.
