Never lose hope.

I said to my self silently. Now, I noticed I am talking to my self already. I cannot bear being away with them (my family).

I am not vocally lovely. Never did I say something sweet to my wife, even if we are in public. I am not used to PDA thingy with her.

But during bed times, I will hug both my wife and kid. You know what's good being fat during those moments? It's more than a human blanket. It's more like a human cushion. But we're both health conscious now.

It's still Tuesday, and I miss them na jud.

I'm almost two years away. I was not able to monitor my kids school activities. I tried to be the best father to him.

I can't even write or type words here in Istorya as often compared before. Now, I use my tears as ink.

This very day is one of the saddest day of our relationship. Her Lola passed away.

I remember her stories when they went for a vacation every summer in Urbasa, Escalante. I am carried away every time she's telling me stories. Even if I barely heard her words because I always look at her eyes and lips, I can understand by the glance of her eyes and move of her lips.

When they arrived from Cebu from a bus-ride to Escalante, they will hug immediately their Lolo and Lola. They pick fruit from the Mango tree beside the wooden house their Lolo built.

They run along the river, the play hide and seek in the sugar cane plantation.

How can I mend her sadness right now? I better lit a candle in the St. Catherine of Alexandria Church here in Dumaguete.

I can feel her feelings even though we are far apart.

I was able to visit her Lola in Bacolod way back when she was alive. And her Lolo too. I was there to ask for the hand of one of their beloved apo.
