    Empire State Handgunner 2 WIP

My first time to use Tamiya Epoxy Putty with a toothpick. Not the best tool for the job but I'm just filling in a seam so it would do for now. I will probably hunt for better scuplting tools later. I wonder if that lady selling sculpey products sell tools too?

A toothpick is a good tool for epoxyputty.

    Cheers!

I look forward to the day when I can paint a realistic skin tone like this: Freya (54mm)

I think I should shape the neck next time. If I over-cut, there's always putty.

    I forgot to pin.

I hope my incoming 10/0 brush would help me paint eyes and mouths better.

For yellowish hair, use brown, or a tan color. Pinning would have helped with the left hand indeed. Hey what do you think of Vampire Counts as an opposing force to your Empire minis?

    Cheers!

@jumps: I will PM you about the Vampire Counts as we're not allowed to talk business outside the B&S section

How did the GAC exhibit and demonstration go? My sinusitis chose the perfect time to raise its ugly head. T_T

True, true. I saw many nice kits there especially the usual great stuff from ground_crashed. And I saw a collectible bust in the shop I REALLY REALLY want but have no funds to buy yet. I also met this interesting person who I think I made him interested in WH40k too. He likes all the mechanical looking minis especially the tanks and Dreadnaughts. I told him about the Baneblade and he was all "Wow, ooh, aahh." Lots of enthusiasm from him. hehehe
