Malu has her freedom expressing her thoughts like us--or anyone else, if you don't like what she wrote, better stop reading than waste time getting pissed and replying on an opinion of one person and keep whining like three year old toddlers.

I didn't like what she wrote about OFW's but thats truth, it was presented in a very negative way but still that's TRUTH. And not all people share the same perception, we can't expect everyone to be an OFW advocate.

^reality check again. it's not wasted time. she has resigned and apologized publicly. and she received death threats too. that should say something to those who don't get it yet.

and by the way, adults express opinions intelligently. three-year-olds pout. hehe.. peace

The mere fact that she presented it in not only a negative but in a very demeaning manner makes it bad and not her intention of revealing and presenting such truths.

Remember, she's a writer. Freedom doesn't mean she can just write anything she wishes to or if she did, people are also free to voice out and react.

The thing she says in her article was "uncalled for". Every decent Filipino will be outraged, and that what happens. Now she's paying her dues.

what has to be checked? I only mentioned people getting pissed as "the waste of time" and waste of "effort" for getting pissed
might have even risked their health, for being so stressed-out about Malu's article, spare your hearts people!

having her resign, apologize publicly, and most especially her and her family receiving death threats is extremely JUVENILE!

mura ragod nag nagsuwat ang usa ka writer about a politician in an extremely negative manner, then the alleged politician happens to be guilty about what the the writer wrote, and he was foaming at the mouth or extremely angry so he made death threats to the writer and her family. Its the same situation.

by the way not all adults express opinions intelligently, and three year olds have enough tantrums to express opinions. And when i say tantrums, i meant WHINING ALL DAY if they don't get what they want; wow this case is similar to some reactions against Malu's article? heheheheh PEACE!

Yes, I agree what she wrote was very negative but it is her opinion and we should just stop reading if we're too offended.

If we voice out and react negatively, we are just being like Malu in her article, and if we want change let us not be like her, instead respect her and prove her wrong about her article should she be--in a decent and peaceful manner.

    kini na mga truth?

“...The duty-free shop was overrun with Filipino workers selling cell phones and perfume..."
“...all these OFWs smelling of AXE..."

oh, and kadtong comparison sa politician nga moreact kung naay mo write ug bad publicity niya unya guilty cya,
murag dili man ma compare sa style sa pagsulat ni malu fernandez about sa OFWs. sala diay na nga mao na ilang trabaho?
nga mamaligya? na AXE lang ilang kaya? kahumot ra anang AXE (mao rapud akong ma afford)
