yeah... i believe, i deserve to answer that also since i voted for himOriginally Posted by omad
when i voted for him i didn't realize that this could be this complicated, i thought that the senate or the supreme court could allow him to serve his purpose. i bet most of the people who voted for him likewise thought that he could have access to his seat just as that. he should serve his purpose, thus given meaning to the 11 million voters who "believed" in him. i do want to see if he really deserves my vote. but right now, i could hardly tell.
^again, talking about numbers....

MANILA, Philippines -- The Makati judge gave little credence to the vote of the more than 11 million Filipinos who elected military rebel Antonio Trillanes IV to the Senate.
In a ]of all of Trillanes’ pleas, Judge Oscar Pimentel Monday rejected Trillanes’ motions to be allowed to attend all official Senate functions, to be given access to media and to set up an extension office inside the Marine detention center at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.
Pimentel upheld the prosecution claim that the Department of Justice, “as the prosecuting arm of the government, its shield and sword of law and order, represents not only the 11,138,067 voters who voted for him (Trillanes), but the people of the Philippines, with all its 85 million citizens and counting.”

Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!
since a number of filipinos made him senator, then we should respect him as senator. he might have some qualities that we did not see but for sure he had his principles which he stood that even brought him to the hot sit. we need some principled leaders now and who knows, he will make a good senator. FREE trillanes, give him the chance to off and if he doesnt do well, dont vote for him next time.
free trillanes...
let him rot in jail! nyahahah... kita man ta ato oi, apil jud to siya sa oakwood mutiny. pero give him due process.
Then send him back to jail to finish his sentence ? Yawerds ra anang DONT VOTE FOR HIM NEXT TIME lels !Originally Posted by JOKS

He should serve some more time in prison first to answer for his very obvious participation in the Oakwood Mutiny. Even if no trials would be conducted it is crystal clear that Trillanes is guilty of rebellion being one of the proud leaders of the mutineers. We all saw how he was during that time and what he said against the government. His acts are punishable under our Penal laws. Well next time, if ever he runs again, do not vote for him. By that time he could still be serving his sentence.
I wonder why the government didnt let Trillanes do his job as a senator?
I know about the law thing...that he has commited a crime against the government. But a crime against a government ( this government) might not be a crime against Filipinos. 11 million Filipinos doesnt think that trillanes commited some crime. They think he did what most people wanted to do always. People wanted to be heard. They want the government to take action. Immediately!
I also think if they keep doing that to Trillanes, then Trillanes will be bigger. He would run for Vice Presidency and i bet he will win. because Filipinos love the underdogs. That might be a good idea.
