one, you're supposed to say "I did go..."dili "I did went..."...no offense, since dili man sad ni ang unod gyud sa imong post...
we too did go to school. also working (legally), and are paying taxes.

what saddens me most, is your apathy. and it scares me because you just proved educated people can actually think that way..
    such attitude breeds slaves...

why, you ask? coz your kind of people are easy for tyrants...easy to deceive, easy to manipulate..
that generation before us (marcos's time) learned it the hard way. they kept saying he wouldn't dare...yet, he did.

"Gloria wouldn't dare!" well newsflash...she already did...
    last time i checked..
... hundreds of unarmed activists are being killed (i highly doubt they're only missing)...
... newspaper editors being put to prison...
... gag orders, on media and on authorities..(remember why they couldn't get garci to speak? he was protected by a presidential
    proclamation...my god, a presidential proclamation!)

and yet you tell me to look the other way... to mind my own business, and forget the plight of others...
    how naive can you be?...

you and others like you can keep your pretense...me and others like me will be busy not pretending...

Ok, I did go to school (I stand corrected). Remember that the word "God" is a proper noun and the first letter should start with a CAPITAL letter "G". Well we cannot all be leaders! There should be followers! It is best for us to keep this country united, ok? United we stand, divided we fall! Don't inject to your brain that everybody can be leaders ok! If we follow your thoughts then whats the use of hiring, managers, supervisors etc, when everybody can be a leader? I suggest you finish your school and work!

    you about this...

it is best for us to keep this country united...i agree. but not just united. united AND free. and for me, this country being free comes first.

"United we stand, divided we fall!"...i dont get that...i dont get that at all...

Where are those slaves in this country? Those call center agents? Factory workers? Restaurant Staff? Private company employees? Slaves doesn't exist in the country ANYMORE! Investors are flocking! More buildings to come to SRP! Foreign investors are FLOCKING! Your "slaves" thing is just exaggerated! Go find WORK!

It is NORMAL for LAWYERS to argue because it is their JOB! Let's leave that part to the lawyers, ok? Go find work, earn and live a happy life! If all FILIPINOS can do that, then we can be a very PROGRESSIVE country!

there is no problem with that. but not all of us are fit for the usual-average worker slave-driven population, i'm sorry if i sound too much of bourgeois, but thats how it goes; the thinkers think for the people who couldnt think for themselves. So the usual average joe has the consolation of not burdening himself of thinking but has for its bad effect, the vulnerability of digesting whatever sh*t society (the literatis, the church, the government, the media, interest groups, etc..) gives. So, if the society says to sacrifice yourself for the greater good of the state would you do it? If such an action is deemed by Society as a significant contribution to National Progress would you do it? But the average hardworking joe, though how noble they are in working tirelessly, is somewhat dependent on mainstream thinking that is imposed upon him by society. This conditioning of world-view is clearly obvious in your statements with the point of study, work, pay taxes.

It is a rather too simplistic attempt to standardize the concept of national progress. But then again, what could we expect from a an education that is too oriented towards selling the individual as if he/she is a mere commodity?

It might just be apathy in the part of the Youth Voters or perhaps they are a bit adamant to the leftist orientation of the group. Might we not forget that there are members of the youth that are not very comfortable with the left in the political spectrum. I'm one of them. Or perhaps, they just dont like the partylist, with the thought that it doesnt really represent them as members of the Youth. Again im one of them. but it is a noble ideal. its just that i dont believe in it.
