    Just thought I'd share this as well, ran furmark for around 10mins to check temps, it's at 50c across the board with an hd6950 with unlock shaders, and both radiator fans at 1000rpm~, that's good enough for me...

    I'll bring it back up to hd6970 specs + OC to 900/1400 (what it's been running on for 3months now) and test again tomorrow...

    Nice, when you say you made the heatsinks for the GPU.. is that literal as in you had someone mill/forge custom sized heatsinks ? Coz I might need a few of those for my GPU if I intend to move away from stock cooler.

    @EarlZ
    vin is right, I just cut into the several sizes some old motherboard and GPU heatsinks and lapped them, then fitted them to the GPU using thermal tape...

    @Dondon
    thanks boss

    @vin
    salamat sa pag explain kang earlz

    Update
    Well the project is done, I'll be bringing the system to the office either tonight or tomorrow evening for a pictorial hopefully you'll like the end result...

    And just another teaser screenshot of how effective the cooling was:
    HD6970 clocks @ 1.1v, fully stable and barely passing 40c, it was better than expected...

    I'll also be posting several unused stuff on the buy and sell section like the painted TB silence fan from enermax, 2 scythe slim slipstreams, white and gray FTW sleeves, several white LEDs, and some more stuff cause this project has drained my pocket...
