Hi, dont dispair miss.
First of all, if i may suggest, please change your forum handle to a more positive one. Entertain only good and positive thoughts and throw all negative words out of your vocabulary. Trust me, you'll need every positive energy from now on.
Secondly, let us start the right way. Let's start from your baby's only strength and hope - YOU. She needs you to paint a picture of her in your mind that she is happy - the happiest she's ever been. Paint in your mind ( as realistic and crisp as possible ) how nice her hair looks like, that bright sparkling and cheerful eyes staring at you. That beautiful and angelic smile after enjoying that sweet and nutritious bowl of Cerelac. Hear her bubbly giggle and her sweet little murmurs. Imagine how fast she crawls and how strong she struggles to stand up.
Imagine her to be at her happiest and most active state. - This is the picture that your mind, body and actions should focus on every second, everyday.
Now, do you know the very reason why the good Lord scheduled your baby's operation soon? it is because it's Christmas season and its the very season of love, sharing and giving.
Now, to make you get all the help that you need, let me suggest for you to visit / seek an audience with all civic organizations here in Cebu. To name a few, you can try contacting a single chapter of every very active groups like the Jaycees. The jaycees consists of several chapters here in cebu and I'm pretty sure their members are mostly well to do. We also have the Lion's Club, Rotary Club, Rotaract, Toastmaster's Club, BCBP, Quota Club Int'l and many more. Each organization has quite a number of sister chapters whom you can try to contact and seek for an audience. I also suggest for you to time your visits during their weekly meetings (usually in the afternoons or at night). You talk to the president of each club and explain your story and ask if you can be permitted to attend one of their weekly meetings. In that meeting, you can explain to the body our initiative and for what cause you are doing this for.
Just prepare a letter, leaflets / poster or better yet a brief 2 -3 mins. power point presentation complete with pictures of your baby showing her current state, medical records, xray findings and other genuine proof of your little angel's state.
The more visuals you can present the more your audience will appreciate it and that will mean more help coming in.
I'm pretty sure that with your message conveyed well, your little angel's state of health shown and explained well, plus your motherly strength, courage, positive mental and physical strength radiating from within, you will be able to raise funds in no time.
To simplify things in numbers:
Cebu Jaycees - 3 chapter clubs
Rotary Club - 3 chapter clubs
Toastmaster's Club - 3 chapter clubs
Quota Club Int'l - 3 chapter clubs
Total Clubs = 21 clubs
if ave. members in attendance are at least 15 (which is very low) = 315 members
if each member will donate at least Php150 (which i think is also low) = Php 47,250! Nearly half of what you need!!!
what if you can visit 35, 40 or 50 club meetings with the same no. of giving members(1 or 2 or 3 each day) depending on how much resolve you have, and each will give at least the same amount, easily you will be able to fund your baby's operation in a month's time!
Dont forget to get the names of those who helped and offer masses for those helpful people.
Once the operation is over, seek another audience with the very same groups, now with your healthy little angel along and perhaps your bf and let your little one give her words of thanks to the group.
I'm pretty sure your donors will truly appreciate it.
Sis, Everything in this world is possible. Its only our mind that puts limits into ourselves. Mind your thoughts always because with your prayer, perseverance and positive resolve - it is your little angel's pillar of hope.
