As I said before, Certain motorcycle riders have this Inferiority Complex and I don't know why. They think gi look down sila kay abig motor pero in fact, it's for their own safety raman unta na.

there are five in my family who ride the motorcycle. a DTI approved helmet costs around 4500 pesos..mutiply that by 5 bro....asa man ko mangawat ana nga kwarta?

here in my city...we ride motorcycles as a way of life....we learn to ride the motorcycle even before we learn to walk.

this law is a violation of our way of life...

this is ridiculous. why do you have to buy 5 helmets for each of your family members? do you all ride the motorcycle all at the same time?

violation of your way of life? come to think of it, since when did safety become a violation to one's way of life? if you're not willing to shed off P13500 the most (3 helmets), then these are your options:

1.) use public transportation
2.) ride at your own risk (yes, this includes violating the law)
3.) work your @$$ up and harder, earn more money, and buy a car

why do we always whine about everything even if it's for our own good?

TS: I totally disagree with you !!!

It is a well-known fact that helmet saves lives or at least saves you a f*cking headache. I believe that the TS is still very young and doesn't know how to respect what the lawmakers are doing. Or the TS here has not been in a motorcycle accident. Or the TS here is good-looking and doesn't want to hide his face to show-off to the girls.

Here's my advice to the TS, don't wear a helmet if you don't feel like it but don't curse if you get caught and pay a no-helmet fine. It is you decision and your life anyway, but I do hope you'll have an accident soon so that you will appreciate what the good senator is doing to save countless lives.
