ehehe, a lot of things brought me to research on this topic...

my father always told me that we arent alone...
i saw weird things in the skies over calatagan and palawan...
i read books like "cosmos" by carl sagan...
i acccept the fact that governments will always hide things from us...
i read so many articles on the vimanas, the nazca lines, the ancient batteries found in the middle east, etc...
if ONLY ONE UFO sighting out of the tens of thousands is real, then we arent alone...
why are the tens of thousand of sightings similar if they were just made up...?


and so many other reasons.... what's your unbelievable reason...?

Aha!..i knew it! you're into this for the very same reasons that i do.

got several close encounters also. the nearest that i've observed a UFO was at about 100meters from the starboard side of an inter-island barge from bohol to butuan city at around 3am, and the thing is a glowing cylinder-shaped craft which is as big as a bus. i'm with 6 other college buddies at that time...it was 3am. the most recent encounter was last feb2006 in mandaue. an officemate informed me over the fone at around 7 in the evening that a strange red glowing orb is hovering in the sky. i went out of the house, and there it was, silently hovering just beneath the dark rainclounds, as if on a reconaissance mission. it was observed also by several other people that my officemate called-up.

one book that i received as a gift a few years back started all these research thing. it was a book which compiled all UFO and Alien encounter incidents worldwide. Since then i've been buying / reading books and researching on the net. thru the years i've already learned to somehow identify which claims made sense and which ones are baloney. and it led me to books that i often disregard during my student days...the books on ancient writings, holy scriptures and ancient archeology. this is when i discovered the studies made by zetcharia sitchin, erik von daniken, etc. that the alien enigma is nothing new...and is even way much older than mankind's history.

i read about the vimanas too, the dogon tribe of west africa, the dropa stones and the dropa and han tribes of china, the sumerian civilization, the nazca lines, pyramids around the world, stonehenge, golan heights, easter island...

the list goes on...

strange ang sci-fi sounding to the unitiated...but very real to those who have experienced an encounter.

hehehehe, so, you are one of the witnesses eh... that would really compel you to do all this research.

you're lucky to have had such a "close" encounter at 100 meters... mine was just zigzagging lights in the sky... so, is there like a club here in cebu or something...? you know, like open minded people who are into this stuff...? It ould be so nice to be able to trade books and such... :mrgreen:

hehehe! yeah...im one of the lucky (or unlucky?) few who were able to experience close encounters.

club? am not sure...but i guess there's non anywhere in the country. Am not sure if Roy Alvarez or Chin-chin Gutierrez did establish an organization. From what i've heard, Roy Alvarez are visiting schools around the country conducting lectures about caring for the environment and - this phenomena.

in malaysia there's an organization called Malaysian Center for UFO Studies, similar to the CUFOS (Center for UFO Studies) http://www.cufos.org/ and the MUFON (mutual ufo network) http://www.mufon.com/ which are based in the US.

The US based organizations investigate reported incidents of encounters in the US and in other parts of the world..

you seem to be so sure of what you are saying! if i may recall all the things that you've said in this thread...they're always negative and you seem to project a blanket assumption about everything posted here and about the people that visit or post in this thread. but the thing is, most of your statements has no substance whatsoever...just plain bashing!!!
