Very good question.

Its message to the world's religions is brief and clear. Know your true nature, know your innermost self; and in finding yourself you will find GOD. That is the great thought which in the modern world is coming more and more to the front. The thirst after GOD, which is the root of every religion can only be quenched that personal experience in which the spirit in man recognizes the spirit that is in its origin and its home. Nothing less than that can quench the perennial thirst of humanity to know its origin and its destiny.

As a student in Theosophy, I reject the idea of a personal, or an extra-cosmic and anthropomorphic God, who is but the gigantic shadow of man, and not of man at his best, either. The God of theology, we say-and prove it-is a bundle of contradictions and a logical impossibility. Therefore, I will have nothing to do with him.

The GOD that I believe is beyond human conception. GOD who is Absolute is not a personality for me but rather a Divine Principle and Universal Consciousness. GOD is beyond Perfection and beyond Infinity. He/She/It is both Immanence and Transcendence - who is ALL in ALL! Amen.

God is a personality for me. She comforts me with caressing air on my cheeks when I am sad. And when He calls, He gives me a choice to follow or not. She is ever true to her promise that everything is going to be alright and when I need help, help will always come. I can't explain him, I only know him.

Is that logical?
