@Lodyl, regarding the CinemaRehiyon, the genre/theme of film is open as long as it showcases Cebuano identity, issues and culture (language, music et cetera).

So far story narratives are more preferred than documentaries because the festival is more about film as an art form, rather than a broadcast medium for information.

Original animation works are accepted. Cebuano/Visayan music videos are not accepted.

According to the founder of CinemaRehiyon, Teddy Kho, independently-produced films that have mainstream appeal would be most ideal and most welcome. The objective is to attract appreciation and support from the communities for regional cinema.

If you have Cebuano film works--be it live action or animation--, short films (not more than 15 minutes) or feature-length films (80 minutes and up), you can submit these for evaluation to be part of the Cebu delegation to 2012 CinemaRehiyon in Bacolod, on or before December 2011 to:
