i'm going to let go of the one i love for the simple reason that he cant forgive me for a sin that i didnt commit and have no control of..and for ignoring me totally after the said incident even if i sincerely said im sorry (eventhough there is no need for it) and for ignoring the things that i have that i have done for him..

now i realize..its useless to love a person if that person cant even find it in his heart to forgive..

saying sorry for somthing you havent done is just like putting your pride out from the list because you dont care at all.. you just want him to be back at your arms and would love you again... [thats a pretty nice attitude..coz somtimes.. someone has to give in..]


but sad to say.... it didnt work... and you've decided to move on... well i knw moving on is really the next phase but the question is... do u really want to move on coz ur heart says so? that it realy is OVER....

that you wont be affectd at all if you wud hear news from him about wat has been happening to his lyf..like him having a new partner.. or you just wana move on for the sake of moving on... or you just thought that moving on is the answer and you just want it to end the misery that your'e having thats why you've chose to move on...?

i just hope that what you have decided would make you happy....

@Sazzygurl, one question for clarification if you would please be so kind. Have you ever really liked any guy you dated?

When you say you have no ideal man in mind? Why is that?

I believe everyone has ideals. Or should have ideals in their lives. For me it is something that each of us can live up to. At the very least, our own ideals reflect our own selves and can act us guides to what we want our lives to be, and that includes who we want.

One could also say that 'ideals' are our own personal desires of how we believe the world should be, how we should live life. In this way these could be used as guideposts, directing us to be the people we want to be, and maybe to the people we want to be with.

And we don't necessarily have to strictly stick to our 'ideals', we are only human and we are prone to change. Accidents. Serendipidity. Like Columbus who set sailed from Spain to find a seaward, westway route to India.. on the way he discovered the isles of the West Indies and provided the sea route to the land which will be called the Americas.

Columbus wasn't looking for America, he was looking for a way to India but the West Indies was all he got but he got famous for it for showing everyone back home that the world was actually bigger than they first thought it to be.

That's what ideals do really, help us see the world that it can be so much more than it actually seems. So that's what I suggest that you should do, Sazzygurl, have some ideals-- have some hopes.

So how would you go about defining your ideal man? Well I guess it would have to start by knowing yourself first. Do you know who you are? What do you want? Especially, what are the sources of your happiness? That's really the key thing because Love is 'ideally' the force that makes Life worth living every day.

Please start realizing your happiness; this will help you guide you to people, particularly to the One who can realize your happiness with you and you with his.

Your standards are set too high....My GF's sister has the same situation..now she's turning 31 and just got a boyfriend with only 40% of her standards met... They've got issues but still sticking together :mrgreen:

Find someone you're comfortable with..that should do for now...
