that is good burn kung DILI REQUIREMENT sa imo job nga american accent. but i think the one who posted this thread is aiming for a job sa call center. and that definitely puts a benchmark that you have to reach in order for you to be employed.

thats what im asking about call centers here in the phils., y do we need 2 hav an american accent and why is it that u should hav an accent in order to hav an employment in a call center...for me lang, it doesnt make any sense, no offense lang jud. ive been 2 diff. places and seen diff cultures and seen diff call centers in diff countries...they're using their own accent man. like in alexandria, egypt..i bought some elect. stuff there & had a hard time installing it.so, i called their tech. specialist, w/c is also a call center tech support here, and i find her "true" in a sense na she's being an egyptian (by not having another foreign accent) and its not only 1 time that i called that center. its lyk more than 20 times. and thats not the 1st time ive tried calling call centers in diff places. so, to sum it all up, we are the ones hu r giving ourselves a very hard time in which we can also use our "FILIPINO ACCENT" coz we are Filipinos ryt? just a share of thought

i cannot speak for the call centers. what my thoughts are on this.... it is either REQUIRED ng mga AMERICAN clients ang AMERICAN accent-speaking pinoys.... or that the call center owners just want to be competittive with regard to the rate their agents are understood by their AMERICAN clients. why pick those na matigas ang dila kung meron naman dyan sankaterbang kayang maintindihan ng mga clients nila?

it is after all the clients that keep these centers afloat....you have to keep them happy and less whiny and complaining.

for the edad-edaran na practice lng.. correct to tanan nila g-suggest. use the language often if not all the time. if you're accustomed to to speaking it then words flow freely.. simultaneously, when you think of an idea.
