ISIS declares WAR on Saudi Arabia after it announces mass alliance to wipe out jihadis
It's no secret that jihadi organizations like ISIS hate the Saudi government, particularly because of its strange alliance with the U.S. Saudi outsources their security needs to the U.S. for obvious reasons. Ironically, as revealed by Hillary Clinton in Wikileaks, Saudi Arabia is the main source of funding for Al Qaeda and other extremist groups. Ironically also is the fact that the dominant brand of Islam in Saudi Arabia, Wahhabism, is also the same brand subscribed to by ISIS, Boko Haram and Al Qaeda. Talk about sleeping with enemies.
Saudi Arabia lives in some very interesting and concerning times. I think it is a declining power surrounded by combustible neighbors. They're hurting from declining profits from low oil prices. And with the lifting of sanctions on Iran, Iran is going to start supplying a million new barrels of oil per day to the market! That would probably prolong the period of low oil prices. The U.S. under Obama has shown increasing reluctance to involve itself in the Middle East. And we're not certain how the next administration will behave, as Americans are getting increasingly allergic to things Islamic. All things considered, Saudi could be in a delicate position against its enemies and extremist groups. It's in their interest (and the world's) that they exercise paranoia-level security measures. The world can't afford something like this to happen.
Sigh...religion of peace. With religions like these, why worry about terrorism?

Islam used as a political tool is the real face of ISIS.
Of course to be effective they have to heap up collateral damages and deaths for out of fear a control can also be achieved.
