Now it's back. The only service they did was add 2 more screws to stabilize the mudguard and to complete it to 4. Tighten just a little bit the brakes but it's still bad compared to the Clayton and other regular motorbikes, but I'm used to it since this Avalon and the Clayton are the only bikes I've driven since 20 years ago. They don't want to change the brakes at all even though it won't brake very well. Lastly, they fixed the busted taillights. I thought I would have to leave it at CDRKing Ebike shop but fortunately a technician from Manila happen to arrive yesterday and is working here in Cebu until tomorrow. So I'm back now to enjoying biking later this afternoon.

So I asked if I can modify the ebike without losing the one year warranty and they said yes as long as I don't tinker with the electrical components. I'd like to change the suspension as I've checked many other models when I was at Cdrking Ebike Shop, they all have suspensions/shock absorbers that are hard and painful to ride on when driving rough roads. I'd like to do what Khimhos Gallardo did. I also want to modify the seat and extend the back compartment as it is really too small for 2 persons to ride on the bike. It is very useful if 2 people can ride on the Avalon comfortably. The seat is like too big for 1 person but too small for 2 people. I've heard cdrking personnel mentioning about some of their enterprising customers modifying their ebikes to fit their needs.

Pastilan, nakagasto gyud ko ug 2 thousand pesos sa gasolina sa car yesterday. I have been using the ebike for 2 weeks whenever I can bisan walay klaro tuyo. Nabag-ohan ko gamay. LOL. Ganahan ko mo-adto sa Colon just to buy anything small where the car is very impractical and very difficult to manuever and park, and park cheaply. Ako dilemma kay mo-follow ba kaha ko sa rules of the motorbikes or not. I know puede dili (as I have fully and finally confirmed balik-balik pangutana) but like puede moagi sa one-way street if ever pero maulaw ko kay mine looks like a real scooter and people might think abusado ko. Ang no left turn does not apply sa bicycles in which ebikes with pedals are considered "electric bicycles". No u-turn. Ni-follow na lang ko sa motorbike rules kay maulaw ko.

After all the problems I encountered earlier sa pag-purchase, naka-appreciate na ko sa ebike nako. My teenage nephews and niece can play with it inside our compound for hours coz I considered it a toy for them last summer pa unta but it's actually useful. Sugo sa errand boy palit bread. Emergency palit ug Canola oil sa grocery. Environment-friendly kay no air pollution, no noise pollution, no use of imported fuel. 7 pesos kunohay charging overnight for 8 hours (maybe it's 10-15 pesos tingali). If you think of it like a bmx bike, unya push-push lang sa electric motor niya to accelerate sometimes, tipid pa gyud sa electricity kay wala man siya'y engine break. Mura ug instant neutral ug going downhill mag-balo ka ug brake kay wala lagi engine brake and that makes it more efficient gyud. Gamitan pud kuno ug pedal first when accelerating from a stop position to save more electricity. Mao ingon nila 60 km range per charge but probably 40 km ra sa ako. Layo na kaayo na oi. I hope dugay maguba akong ebike but ingon nila compared to cars and regular motorbikes, barato ra kuno ang parts and madala ra ug do-it-yourself in many fixes and repairs.

After all the problems I've encountered so far which is typical of cdrking, in many scenarios, I still prefer my ebike:

I know using mountain bikes has amazing advantages and I'm actually envious but it is not the only answer for all transport scenarios. If it is, then for the past 100 years in terms of distance, mountain bikes would have surpassed the cars, trucks, trains and even motorbikes. It's like choosing Basketball over Football or even purely entertaining online games and movies. There is no wrong or right answer here.

Basta, nalingaw pa ko karon sa ebike after being used to a car. Major problems sa karon kay disappointed lang ko sa abog, init ug ulan.
