It's a complete security solution with both anti-virus and anti-spyware in one.

Bro, among gamit f-secure na antivirus... ok baya siya with firewall and spam protection. Pwede ra sad i disable ang windows firewall safe pa man sad so far.
In your opinion which of these 3 popular free AV is better?
Avira AntiVir PE? Avast Home Edition? or AVG Free Edition?
im a nod32 user..ever since i got infected by w32/tengaOriginally Posted by softtouch_ph
i shud try Lock'nStop, peerguardian 2 and processguard also coz im only relying on winxps firewall.
anyway, how much mem would be allocated for these three other apps?![]()
You may have not updated your nod32 signature database. Tenda is long time in the signature database...Originally Posted by gregggy_ph
However, Lock 'n Stop uses around 3MB, Peerguardian 11MB with 7 full updated lists, processguard 9MB, so all in all not too much.
of course i update daily..its on auto by defaultOriginally Posted by softtouch_ph
and yes it was long ago and nod32 never failed me ever since..btw thanks for the info..and btw r ds freeware?
bro, based on my experience as a technical support, installing antivirus depends on the user jud... not all antivirus will detect virus the others are detecting. sometimes the virus thread are not the same with some antivirus. Nay daghan na antivirus na dili jud makakita maski updated pa ang iyahang definitions... try lang ug evaliuate further ang mga antivirus.
Peerguardian is freeware, Processguard and Lock 'n Stop is shareware.Originally Posted by gregggy_ph
@ softtouch_ph : i did the "Enhanced Rule Set" settings already,....
for some reason,.... it still takes a while to restart or shutdown my comp. even thought i exit the peerguardian few minutes b4 i turn restart / shutdown my comp.
so right now im using
- Nod32
- Look 'n' Stop
- PeerGuardian 2
- Spy Sweeper
With that software and a safe browser / safe browsing, usually nothing should happen.Originally Posted by cHoLoCoY
