You just did what they want you to do.

2 rajud ang reasons sa pag implement sa parking fee :

1. Para makakwarta (which i believe is not their main goal)
2. Para ma lessen ang amount of cars/motorcycles nga mo park sa it park (decongestion)

hunahunai nlng kung dli regulated ang mga parking slots:
-Tanan kilid sa dalan kay parkingan, ang 2-lane road mahimong 1 lane.
-Kung puno na ang parkinganan, daghan na daun magtuyok2 sa it park pra mkakita ug free slot maparkingan which will lead to more congestion.

IT park parking fee @ 25/day
=125/week
=500/month
=6,000/year

@ a salary of 10,000/month or 120,000 per annum
less taxes, sss, philhealth, pagibig, net = 84,000 per annum.

IT park's parking fees would come around to 7% of a minimum salary equivalent to about 6,000 pesos a year.
We can call it a sort if parking tax.

But I really think charging a motorcycle the same fee for a parked car is absurd, considering that it only takes up a quarter of the space needed.

update today:
Amid complaints of “exorbitant” parking fees collected at the Cebu IT Park in Barangay Apas, Cebu City, Mayor Tomas Osmeña now wants the city to operate its own parking area there.

But in order to do so, the city needs the approval of the Cebu provincial government to use a province-owned vacant lot in front of IT Park facing the Honda building along Salinas Drive which is presently not being used.


“It has been reported that the parking fee charged is as high as P50 per hour…I am willing to discuss terms, in such a way that the province will benefit from its income, and at the same time, we will be able to help our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) employees who will utilize the parking area,” read the mayor’s letter to Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III.

pwde raman mag park ka sa SM then plete lang ka padung IT. back and forth 14php ra imo magasto and save sa gasolina compared sa 50php imo mabayran kung sa IT park ka mismo parking
