Christian/Catholic nation my ass. Some of you balk at the thought of divorce, but Filipino people in general idolize womanizers because it's "cool" to have a mistress. The more women you have, the more macho you are, that's the mindset of most men in this country. Enough with the hypocrisy. Values and morality in the Philippines is a joke.

IMHO,Divorce should be permitted in the Philippines in some cases like;

- If a spouse will become a threat to his/her family

It makes no sense, man siguro just for the sake of saving your marriage you will put yourself and your children's safety at stake?

In such scenario, are we gonna deprive the wife to obtain freedom from bondage?

so long as dili moila ang Pinas ug divorce, bisan pag sa las vegas ka gikasal, madivorce ka didto, sa balaod sa pinas, kasado gihapon ka sa panan-aw ug sa record sa pinas. ofcourse there are certain provisions wherein you can remarry, but generally, the rule is dili moila ug divorce ang pinas.
