One word: Immaturity. That is the difference between boys from men.
Boys: [1] Get into a relationship just because everybody is into a relationship, sabay sa uso. [2] Boys normally go for the most beautiful or hottest girl in town, trophy na para nila. Alpha male or macho image kunuhay. [3] Driven by hormones. Physical intimacy ang nilabaw and doesn't think of commitments yet Lingaw2 lang. [4] Selfish. Mas unahon ang kaugalingon kaysa sa relationship.
Men: [1] Gets into a relationship and knows what it takes to make a relationship work. [2] Physical intimacy is important but not the only priority. [3] Responsible and puts the relationship over self. [4] Stick to one. If something goes wrong sa relationship, men fix it. Boys get out and look for another one.

Men have this alpha male or superiority complex. It's in nature, even animals exhibit that. Men have this notion that the more superior they are, the better they are and superiority doesn't only mean over women, it also includes other men.
Such superiority or being an alpha male isn't only shown through strength (which is the most obvious thing that men has an advantage over women). It is being characterized by responsibility, security, finances, independence, confidence, etc. Alpha males are being looked up as supermen or men who's got least flaws as possible.
What would make me think that men are superior than women? When women fall for men. In general, women would prefer men who could protect them and provide them security, men who is a father figure. I believe that women are stronger emotionally than men but still unconsciously women are looking for somebody who could symbolize dominance for her. But this is not always the case, there will always be exceptions.
Men afraid of having a family? I believe every individual wants to have a family of their own. If there are men who are scared of having a family, I don't think that the thought of having a family per se is the one that is scaring them but rather the thought of not being able to support their family. It is a man's responsibility to provide the needs and wants of the family. Other than that, men who are scared are men who aren't ready yet be it financially, emotionally, or psychologically.
^^ i guess anha lang mahibao-an sa laki ang worth sa usa ka babaye kung wa na. it's more on regretting on something na di na mabalik pa.
