mmm...i think so. in my early morning run whenever i pass by "sinangag express" along m velez st., i'm so amused at these people facing bottles of red horse staying out as late as 5am. i went that stage too and i see myself in them. i used to think we/i look cool hanging out at bars holding bottles of beer or liquor but from the perspective of a jogger or a runner or from any person with discipline of sports for that matter....i just realized how wasted and lousy we look. we ain't cool man.

what's cool now is getting my 2nd wind or seeing my time increase...running is where dopamine is

so true, ive past that stage too, when i almost had a liver failure last year, i said to myself what good does it to me, i spent 3 weeks in the hospital for it. after that nothing had stop me from running and sports activities.

don't you guys think that those people staying up in the wee hours of the morning and holding a bottle of beer in their hand could be saying to themselves too "those were the days?"...

for all we know, they could have timed an 18 min 5K or a sub 40 min 10K.. or maybe even better than that

when they pass at u, they could be saying "yeah work your way up there dude" or "you go beat my best time"

    hahaha how ironic
