    Default Re: Recommended Reading

    The Prophet- K. Gibran
    The Fountainhead-Ayn Rand
Farewell to Arms, The Old Man and the Sea, For Whom the Bell Tolls-E. Hemingway
    Pilgrim at Tinker Creek-A. Dillard

It has been a while since I read a book, but the above short list summarizes what I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I read The Fountainhead in high school by accident--I was requested to return it to somebody. Out of curiousity I read the first page, then the 2nd, until I just couldn't put it down. The Dillard book was a requirement in a graduate course I snuck into. I ended up really liking the book. And Hemingway, what can I say, I love his books...

Default Trip to Quiapo by Ricky Lee

I love Tag-Lish. Nagsi-***... Magmi-make love lang tayo sa hangin, etc

You can't say those two in Cebuano without using the vulgar term in the dialect or say it in English nalang.

    fighter kaayo libroha.

there is a reason why this book was written in tag-lish. it was meant to make the reader feel as if he / she was just talking to a friend or listening to a lecture by ricky lee.
