i think i got the TS's point.
wala man tingale nitawag kang Jesus og bro or brother during his time.
naa pud ko example ba, lets say istudyante ka, tapos suod kaau nimo imong professor and you call him in his first name. sa klase if you have something to say in him, will you still call your professor in his first name, kay suod lage mo? syempre dili proper, dba?
so ingon man c Jesus nga He is our bestfriend and your confident to call Him bro, pwede siguro tawgon nimo si Jesus og bro sa prayer lang nimo. But kung naa naka sa kadaghanan, call Him the proper way.
Another point pud nko kay sa salida nga may bukas pa, C jesus kay tawgon nila og bro, nya ang mga pari kay father. baliktad man ata..
this is a good thread, mareligious sad ta kadyot. respect the TS also. we have our own idea naman.
^i was about to say the exact thing.. i am also wondering why the child calls HIM 'Bro' but those priests, the church leaders, addressed Him as Father?![]()
-another thing i noticed is how people say Bro and bro and mean one thing, it's just like referring to God and god.
we believe that "bro" is an abbreviation for brother and one of Jesus' characters is a Brother to the children of God.. yet we must never forget that we still have to pay Him the Highest Respect since He is undeniably worthy of it.. He is seated at God's right hand, that is the Throne of Highest Praise. we can be in a relationship with God by calling Him Bro (or bro) but then it is not where the personal relationship with Him starts.. i agree that we can call Him "Bro" as long as it goes along with a sincere heart and we give Him the highest respect.

Cguro ang TS kay kapuso. Hehehehe. Bro! hinay hinay lang. Hehehhehe.
Bosing!
is it just me or is the TS actively skipping the Bible verses in which Jesus says that we are all His brothers and sisters.
ok ra man cguro ng salidaha oi...kay labi na mga bata manan-aw.kato nisimba ko nya naa ko sa third row nga lingkuranan, naa juy bata niduol dapit sa altar i think mga 5 yrs old ata to nya nag pray jd sya nalingaw lang ko nagtan-aw niya kay iya jd tong gisundog si santino ba.
TS, let me give you very clear and more common examples of "using GOD's name in vain". Ready? Here we go:
Oh, my god !
diyos ko po !
NOTE: I am using small caps for the examples. Please don't flame me. =)
