it was a nice memento for the filipino people to have the first lady president under all circumstances she stood with all merit and flying colors..... i salute u.....
i cried when she died. Maybe it was her devotion to God and her much love to our country and to the people that deeply touched me. She's one of the reasons why I could say I'm proud to be a filipino. She was one of the instruments who brought back democracy to our country.
at least ala na nag suffer maayo si Tita Cory sa iyang sickness..

RIP and have a wonderful journey.
THanks for imparting your life.
You've shared alot in the country and will be sharing ours too...
i was there ganina, pag agi sa iyang convoy sa Ayala Ave.... there was soooo many people and all the confetti or shreds of paper flooded the streets and the skies... some of the people there were just onlookers, hoping to get a glimpse of some celebrity or politician but i could really feel that a most of them, were really joining the nation not to mourn over her death, but to remember what Cory and we as Filipinos fought for and are still fighting for.
Pope hails Aquino for ‘unwavering faith’

VATICAN CITY -- Pope Benedict XVI on Saturday hailed former Philippine president Corazon Aquino as a “woman of deep and unwavering faith” after her death from colon cancer.
The head of the Roman Catholic Church was "deeply saddened" by the death of Aquino, who led a movement to restore democracy to the country in 1986, the Vatican said.
Benedict praised the former leader of the Catholic nation for her “courageous commitment to the freedom of the Filipino people” and “her firm rejection of violence and intolerance”
Her efforts were a vital “contribution to the rebuilding of a just and cohesive political order in her beloved homeland,” the pope said in a telegram signed by Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone.
The pope sent his "heartfelt condolences" to Aquino's family and the country's authorities after her family announced early Saturday she had lost her battle with cancer.
“Cory” Aquino was propelled into the political spotlight in 1986, leading millions of Filipinos in protests against the corrupt regime of dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
