and calling mayweather a fraud?! wadapek! roach should know better...
hehehe.. nagtuo ka nga hater ko nimo kay mo palag ko? di tawn no.. i don't waste my time hating people.. ang ako lang man gud na obserbahan nimo sa una pa is you're always rooting for Manny's opponent. I'm not saying you're a hater.. All I said is padayun lang sa imong damgo nga mapildi si Manny co'z that's what your comments in the past threads manifest. You wanted Manny to lose.
Obviously, you're favorite fighter is Mayweather as you have amassed all possible reasons why he's playing it safe all these years (since 2002). I don't take it against you, but I just don't buy it.
Great fighters are defined not only how good they are, but who and how they fought. Mayweather has great boxing skills, no question about that, but is he a great fighter? I think not. His fights lack action and drama despite the opposition lacking the threat to actually beat him. Pacquiao on the other hand is the total opposite. He always walks in the danger zone to prove that he can hang with the best in the sport. Pacquiao fought opponents who were actually favored to beat him. Floyd never fought opponents who might give him trouble since his second fight with Jose Luis Castillo.
Mayweather always takes the very safe route, citing "business" reasons to keep his "0", which isn't really a big deal. Floyd could have been the best, really, only if he took the boxing road like Pacquiao did.

how about answer this, why fight Marquez ryt now when everybody knows he doesn't have a solid following in US not even in Mexico? last time i remember the Casamayor & Diaz fight where not on PPV, instead was one HBO Championship Boxing,Mosley is itching to have a crack at him how come he doesn't even entertain him, is he growing feathers? and oh btw, RING RATINGS showed Mosley is currently #1 @ WW @ top 4 P4P,so what's your excuses now? why fight at someone you know is a lot smaller than you & doesn't have any belt at stake & fight at a CATCHWEIGHT? now do some of your homework boy & get back at me.. d only reason i could think of is the dude is scared to fight someone who has a "CHANCE" to beat him but obviously you can't see it coz your licking Mayweather's balls... lol

you want to see pure skills (shoulder roll etc etc) minus the running? then try watching James Toney, am not exactly sure though if you're going to be excited with it without the running part.... lol

try listening maybe you might be enlightened YouTube - Was Floyd Mayweather P4P King Before He Retired
I definitely agree on the argument of "why fight Maruez and not Mosley".. If Floyd is as great as he says he is, he should be fighting Mosley, or Cotto. Not Marquez. Fights with Mosley and Cotto would also make most business sense because they're obviously much bigger fights than that of Marquez. So saying that its a business decision to fight Marquez is hogwash, unless of course if Floyd is not confident enough that he'd beat Mosley or Cotto. Maybe he thinks he can't beat Mosley, and a loss might damage his stock. So he'd rather fight Marquez who is considered by many as a smaller and safer opponent for a guy like him. But then again, he might be in for a surprise. I won't count JMM in this fight.

And James Toney is the best example of someone who has great skills and can DEFINITELY walk the talk. I love watching James Toney fight, especially his fights with Jirov and Holyfield. That's one bad as5 mofo.. sadly though, he may not be able to compete at the highest level as he already got old and he was not as lethal before that bicep injury.

If Floyd is even half the man Toney is, he will fight Mosley in a heartbeat.

i doubt any fights with a REAL WW against MAYWEATHER would happen,a have a hunch after 2 fights this year AGAIN the SOB will RETIRE 'cause he's done everything for the sport,he proved he's the best best & while saying all of those things, will CRY in the podium in front of all the media... lol

    @doi

the only reason i can see why your a MAYWEATHER nuthugger 'cause you're so in love with the "0", for you, greatness is measured by having an unbeaten record but sadly boy most ATG's were beaten once or more than once during their career, think of Ali,SRL,SRR,Hearns,Hagler,Frazier,Joe Louis etc etc... can we say that Calzaghe should be P4P # 1 since he's unbeaten? & has been a SMW Champion for 10yrs? but sadly doi Pacquiao has far more greater resume than Calzaghe & Mayweather combined....

Boxing is a skill. Fighting is the spirit that determines how a fighter employs his skill. Pacquiao excels at both.

the "0"!! dude don't be so arrogant and treating me like a freakin ignorant of the sport!!! i love boxing and i know boxing so don't go around saying i favor mayweather on winning cause he's unbeaten...

im favoring him cause i like the method of counter-punching, shoulder roll or shrug, and being intelligent in fighting not just being aggressive... boxing is like mma in a way your objective is to inflict more pain than receive one... and that's what mayweather is doing and he's great at it....

In this article, the writer quotes Larry Merchant saying Pacquiao may not necessarily beat Mayweather, but he certainly is the better fighter.
Additionally, a boxing historian questions Mayweather's supposed greatness..

Great debate: The case for Pacquiao

“Let’s just look at the two fights against Hatton,” said Mike Silver, a historian and author of The Arc of Boxing. “Mayweather calls Hatton ‘the toughest fighter I ever faced’ and Pacquiao utterly destroyed him. C’mon, if Mayweather has the skills he professes to have, he should’ve dominated a club fighter like Hatton.

“And a prime De La Hoya beats Mayweather. Every time (De La Hoya) threw the left jab, Mayweather had no answer. A great fighter doesn’t react that way to a left jab.”
