Go to the range behind holiday gym. I left a starter bow (18# RH) and some arrows. you can try. I will be in Cebu next week. Look for edwin (range in charge)

That is the right way to go into archery. try before you buy. Normally, in manila, you would rent. Just like in the bowling lanes. Why dont you spend time to go to the range. I left a starter bow (18lbs recurve) for beginners to try. Right Hand only. If you are left handed, close your left eye when shooting.

Look for edwin. If you are lucky enough to see archers, they would be more than happy to set you up (for shooting).

thirdverse: I see Karen Yasi from the pics. She's my dad's bestfriend's daughter. She played in the Asian Games (I think)... katong sa Doha. She got into archery because of me =) Her dad said that she got interviewed daw in one of the local channels about her archery and she related how she got into archery. She didn't mention my name but I was the one she referred to. I haven't seen a footage of it though.

Speaking of which... can I get the full address and landmarks sa archery range? I'll be in Cebu on December 8th until 14th. I'd love to drop by the range and see the place... and maybe shoot a few arrows? It's been 9 years since I last held a bow and shot an arrow... Yikes! My dad will be there too... he's definitely going to want to come with me if I go.
