crash and moose tests are just one angle of safety testing for a vehicle and does not really means that a vehicle is safe in case of collisions. but i still go for the strada. forget about moose and crash tests. i like this because of the 4m41 engine (based in 4m40) is a reliable engine from mitsubishi in production years ago. what they did is just add crdi head to make it more powerful but still retaining the reliability image of the engine. the 4d56 (which i believe is more reliable than 4m40, but 4m40 is not really bad, if i may add) is also an option. 4d56 with crdi head delivers high output combined with reliability. they even use the old conventional transfer case (lever type) not those buttons which are prone to damage. its not that strada is left with technology, its just because they want that their cars will be reliable ones. aside from internal pros, strada also looks cool and offers more gadgets, yet offers cheapest price in its class. both 4m41 and 4d56 engines uses the old low charge turbo i think (?) and not VGT. imagine 4m41 with VGT. WHEW! i just learned that the grand starex uses an engine based in 4d56. hyundai put on VGT and they are able to raise the output 170HP. look, its just the 4d56, what more if mitsubishi uses VGT in their 4m41 and 4d56 engines in their own line-up?
