ako theres only one moderator i HATE GYUD, ka2ng mga poineering sa istorya kaila ad2 niya.. sa gubot nga wla koy labot gi apil pa gyud kos mga chismis.. lagot kaayo ko ad2. ang storya mismo wla na gi pang post gi kalat2x na sa mga other members so it went personal gyud. i guess wla na 2 cya diri or is posting as a different username, sure there are lots of other members and moderators that really hate my guts diri sa boards.. wla koy paki kay i dont take i personaly. tubag tubagon rana nako.. unsay labot nila dba ? if a moderator or a member takes things personally sa forum.. siya ray alkansi, ang pikas side nag katawa ra. a moderator is just a normal member who keeps the forum in good order, they are just members with added burden... dli bya na sayon mag sigi basa ug post para mo moderate nya ang uba dira laro lang ug post, pero i have to comment on this, some moderators sakit ra kaayo or blunt kaayo mo storya.. mao na mo gara ang mga members.. sabta sad ang filipino mentality.. kung correctionan nimo ang taw ayaw bastosa diretso.. mora mag imong gi bring down ug maayo ang taw.. kung naka sala man unta taronga ug solti.. mao nay tawag unta maski naka sala na ang taw respitohi gihapn dli kay insultohon ninyo, naa man say uban dira gara kaayo nay feeling raba sakto.

Sarcasm and arrogance are two different things. If one is called arrogant because they moderate someone ... because they are in the position to tell someone contrary to what someone else thinks ... then arrogant I am. If one is arrogant because he stands on firm ground and argues that ground, then anyone with a firm opinions must be arrogant. People need to redefine arrogance and see where it really fits. Sarcasm is on a different caboose as that of arrogance. One will only take offense from sarcasm if they do not understand it because they are incapable of understanding it or because of ammm ... errr ... arrogance. Hence heated arguments and "unwanted impression" will ensue. To think that this can be avoided in a forum where only the most firm believer in their stand will prevail is foolish.

heh my thoughts exactly, para nako i dont think nga moderator are higher than members. ONLY the ADMIN is 1 step higher than member.. moderators and members are on equal grounds.. maka badlong lang ang moderator.. ang member mag pa badlong.. dira ra ang difference.
nya ako i never let a moderator put me down.. kung mag away ai di bawsan para lingaw.. bati manang 1 sided battle.. nag gira nya wlay contra morag boang

yeah i agree to that EarlZ members and moderatos are on the same ground... but the thing lang kay cla maka delete, maka lock sa post.. kita dili

But when has any mod ever on purpose try to hurt anyone's feelings? Do we run around insulting members? Is sarcasm something to cry about? Did we call people names? Do we go out of our way to harass the users as many users do to the mods? Are our arguments directed at the person? or are they directed at the posts of the person? Are we hurting anyone's feelings because we disagree? and many times will disagree strongly? Should we refrain from voicing our opinions just because they might somehow hurt someone (should anyone voice their opinion?)? Are these personal views of the different moderators connected in any way with how we moderate? How many mods have used their status to turn a discussion in their favor?

there are certain times, actually. and saying that, i know you'd probably ask me to point out when and where but i'd rather not. i'm pretty confident i'm not the only one who thinks that way.

i'm not trying to debate on this but i'm just pointing out things certain moderators should look at. although i'm not a mod here, and i sure don't wish to be one, i know what it's like.

if you guys think that what you're being like is enough, and that you're sticking to the rules and you're morally correct, then how come members are complaining bout your actions?

most probably those members haven't read the rules or haven't understood them well.

on the next updates moderators will have direct access to ban members through a "voting count system"--we just click to vote. we'll still be equal, that will always hold true. But to members: pretty soon it when updates will have been completed these rules will be very easy to shove down throats.

15. Do not argue with the enforcement of these Rules and Regulations. If you are requested to comply, comply. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

16. Moderators are to be treated with utmost respect. If you have any issues with Moderators, course them thru the admins (BeoR / Galadriel) of the site or thru GlassMoon / n`gel privately. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

17. These rules are subject to change without prior notice.

basta. so far, ok ra baya jud kau most of the mods sa site. the site keepers, the admin... sobra pa's alright. except lang jud for those certain people na hopefully, di lang palabi, ba...
