points on buddhism...
1) Does buddhism believes in a personal-creator God?
NO
2) Are buddhists vegetarian?
Not all. Vegetarianism is recommended but not required. Some sect if you enter monastic life you are required to eat vegetables only, but for layman/women you can eat whatever you want.
3) Is buddha God?
No. He never claimed to be God.
4) Is buddhism religion?
Yes and No. Your identification to buddhism depends solely on how you understand the principles.

If the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause.
