Be Proud of Being Catholic

I am proud being a Catholic.

Reasons:

1. It is the only religion with efficient money making instruments;
2. It is the only religion with most brilliant hypocrites on the list;
3. It is the only religion with absolute authority of deifying a person disguising as saint;
4. It is the only religion with a magnificent influence on governments, the Pope being a head of the Vatican State.

i beg to disagree.

first, there are the jews. efficient money making instruments. One of the reasons for the anti-jewish sentiments before the war.

second, all religion has one. but if we are talking about the most brilliant of hypocrites, again there are lot in the jewish religion. Savvy, these guys are, they are afterall the envy of the aryan race, among others

third, again not so. Alot of Buddhist sects does this, one of this resulted as a current political issue which plagues the parliament of Bhutan.

fourth, there is the Anglican communion. the queen being head of the church has a significant influence on all commonwealth nations and its Anglican-communion.



but even though the catholic church is not really that overrated as it is, i still am proud to be a catholic.

you can't admit but i hate to say that it's true. i guess i'm more apt to say this because i grew up from a hard-core Catholic family. i remember the times when my parents would yell at me if i didn't go to church.

i can never be proud of being Catholic.

i despise being one.

there can never be any religion in the world that can shove their beliefs down your throat more than Catholicism.
