As August 30 is National Heroes Day, Indie Film Sunday this August at the Outpost features a heroic line-up to encourage everyone towards positive action!
To be featured is a 20 minute documentary on Filipina Empowerment, Kahmil Roxas' THE EMPOWERED FILIPINA: A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE
And the action-packed documentary on Filipino Eskrima, ESKRIMADORS!

CASTING CALL FOR FEATURE LENGTH FILM

Plot Outline:
Desperately finding ways to support their sickly child, Noel and Liza welcomes a new addition to their family, Ben a rich foreigner who is hoping to build a family of his own. Together they play the game of deceit and make believe, but the truth is far from being hidden as the daily soap operas vividly mirror what they have been hiding all along.
Looking for the following:
ROBERT - little boy, 4-7 y.o. thin, with soulful slightly chinky eyes (can be younger, as long as he's intelligent enough to follow instructions). Will be playing an optimistic but sickly Cebuano boy.
CRISTINA/AMOR - young woman, early to mid 20's. Beautiful, with gentle features. Must speak fluent tagalog. Will be playing the lead in a telenovela.
JEFFERSON/GABRIEL - young man, early to mid 20's. Handsome, moreno. Must speak fluent tagalog. Will be playing the love interest in a telenovela.

@_AWESOME_, we use a variety of editing software, depending on the project. For beginners, we really recommend Sony Vegas.
