taga talisay ra ako vet bro, ako man pud di mo kaon ug tarong..mo kaon ra siya daghan kung gutom na siya but panagsa ra pud hehehe twice a day raman kaon ani niyarice and dog food ako isagol with catsup hehehe wla na siya nag vitamins ron bro...

How old na imo golden? Adult dogs are supposed to consume less amount of food compared to puppies. Kami namroblema pud mi kay Summer, because kinagrabihan kahinay mukaon. He eats so SLOWLY gyud. Ambot ning iru-a. Wala pa siya 1/4 sa iyahang food, amuang tanan nga iro, nahurot na tanan food sa dog bowl nila. Iyaha na gyud na kina-iya nga hinay mukaon.

Usa ra gyud akuang ma advice nimo... EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE. Take your golden out for a walk, give them a ball to run around and play with. Tendency is ma boost up ilahang appetite. Ikaw ba ipadagan-dagan ug dugay, di ka gutumon?

When we took Summer out for daily walks or fetch games with our other dogs, his appetite grew bigger (pero slow and steady gyapon mukaon), mas daghan na siya ma consume nga food and he could usually finish it na in one sitting. Mas mu prefer si Summer to break 1 big meal into 2 smaller meals (morning & early evening).

Case to case basis pud na Cebuski, it depends upon their activity level and metabolism. Some dogs, gamay ra ug kaon pero tambok kaayo. Ang uban, daghan kaayo ug kaon, pero niwang.

Kami amuang vet is Animal Kingdom. We all love it there because aside sa maayo kaayo sila mu treat ug dogs, they are VERY friendly & accommodating. They also explain and answer your questions very well. Yesterday we were there to have a check-up for our dogs. Mao ni pic ni Summer, taken at the clinic (sorry doc, puro laway ni Summer ang table ninyo, hehe)

He had some dry scars on his face & thank God dili siya Mange. When we got home, ni inspect mi sa iyaha lugar... sus! daghan man diay ANTS in his eating area because si Summer, dili hutdon tanan food niya. Gi hulmigas nuon and paakon diay ni siya sa iyaha face. No wonder he had all the scratches.



Summer weighs 39kgs (according to Doc Ging).. para nako, niwang gyapon siya. Sa clinic, they call Summer the "super stud" because daghan mga puppies niya, didto pud daw ang clinic. (gikan sa stud service). Doc also mentioned that kasagaran kuno puppies ni Summer, female daw. Mas daghan daw siya X chromosome. It figures because murag babae ang batasan ni Summer...sobra ka paraygon, reklamador and masuyaon (if we don't play with him) and hinay kaayo mukaon. hehehe!

I also brought my cocker spaniel and husky sa clinic ... and I asked if those dogs were overweight, kay dagko kaayo ug kaon and they seem so fat to me. I was so happy to hear that sakto ra daw ang weight nila, very healthy sila...and dili daw to fats.. they were muscles. Ingon sila tungod daw ni kay cge ug swimming sa beach and dagan akuang mga dogs. hihi!

Regarding supplements, I don't give vitamins na because complete na ang dog food nako. I just give brewer's yeast, I forgot the name of the fishy thing for the coat, plus I make my own treats using raw meat, whole wheat cereal, oats, wheat germ (anti-oxidants) plus crushed egg shells since its a very good source of calcium. I also a few drops of Apple Cider vinegar in their water because it has many beneficial purposes.




I also give all my dogs a few tablespoons of yogurt and yakult every week
(for healthy digestion & cleansing of toxins)



plus vegetables! (They love it steamed and raw). Naa mi dako nga kamunggay tree dinhi sa house
and my dogs all love it. Naanad naman gud ni sila pagka puppies pa nila that I add vegetables to their food or give it as treats.

@Moyimus thanks kaayo..asa na nino gikan ang brewers yeast? unsaon na siya pagpakaon sa dog? isagol na siya sa food? nakadungodg ko maayo lagi kuno nang apple cider..mao nang makita nato sa grocery nga apple cider vinegar? di ba lainan ang dog ana sa iya tubig? pila ka tablespoon pod imo ibutang?

normally pila ka cup of food mahurot sa inyo GR in a day?
