no point putting your "HDD" to a SATAIII interface...
put all SSD to your SATAIII ports.
put all HDD to your SATAII ports.

sukad 3years bro, ming palyar rag usa ako disk due to heat, karon kay wala gyud problema, basta lang ang hdd kay na-ay good air ventilation then dili mu-init (ako gibutangan ug fan atubangan nila)

yes, mahal SSD..., it pays off, try it for your self , once you tasted..., you'll never go back
buy an SSD, put in on a sataIII port, install Win7 or any OS of your choice..., try lang Win7 , then update with proper drivers... then tan-awa iya boot times ug application launch(s)

10k para sa 500gb nga ssd? na maguba pa lng na ug sau kung mao na aku uploadan sa mga images sa OS! anyways pila d i ka gig ang e consume na space sa OS image sa diskless boot? I've been watching the OBM tutorial many time already wla ku kasabot sa iya config dapit sa client makes no sense ky ng upload sia sa drive letter F which is wla mn ang drive F sa server Side, bale source is drive C:/ then target is drive F:/.

I have been using VM's way before I came accross diskless..., when I try to create VM's, lets say specially with Windows, for example, if I want to create a Windows XP VM, then to consider I'll be using a MicroXP or TinyXP, I'll create a VM hd or VMDK to about 1gb only! since installation of tiny/micro XP is less than 300mb

now, since ato gamiton/makita kasagaran kay Win7 man, what I do with Win7 VM's disk (VMDK) is to make it a Dynamic Size of a Maximum of 100Gb (basta Win7 image)

allocation is just 'the' maximum imo image maka-write, since kani allocation is dynamic..., it will start small, siguro inig human nimo install Win7 kay around 8g~12g siguro with clean install, dayon, inig tan-aw nimo sa sulod sa VM, imo makita sa imo hdd kay 100gb sab.


ibutang lang nato kung imo allocation is only 10gb lang, then inig install nimo ug Win7, ang mahabilin nalang kay 2g or lesser nalang...
