^ An APU CPU and a discrete NVIDIA GPU? Nah! I don't recommend it. Better get an i3 + gtx750 ti.

ang naka nindot aning AMD kay dili daghang 'socket' type. Ang Intel lisud usa-hay mag ilis ug mobo tungod sa ka daghan socket type.
Mas maayo mo palit na AMD socket (FX, AM3, AM3+) kay dali ra mag upgrade kay gamay ra ug choice sa mobo. Mas 'interchangable' ang AMD socket kaysa Intel na napaka daghan 'socket' type. Naa gani mobo na pwede FX, AM3, AM3+. Kining FX, AM3, AM3+ mas barato pud ni kay wala ni silay iGPU. Gamay ra sa Intel na walay iGPU mauna mahal ang Intel. FYI - I don't sell/work for AMD or any CPU manufacturers. I am a hobbyist helping other hobbyist.

^ bro, AM3+ socket is a dead one... for sure, ang upgrade nila's on the next enthusiast level CPU kay another platform/socket... performance wise (on their fast IPC & others), intel wins... price wise, AMD wins... power to consumption ratio, intel wins... iGPU, AMD wins (on their APU)... both camps has their positives and negatives... now, budget ra nato ang agdon ani... ako, wla ko'y gipaboran ani nila... palit ra ko's swak sa akoang budget and intended application...

now for your last statement, allow me to correct... FX CPUs are AM3+... ang sakto ani kay mao ni na sentence... "Naa gani mobo na pwede FX, Phenom II and Athlon II"... these are AM3+ and AM3 platforms...

example anang statement nimo kay ang mobo sa FX-6300 na akoang gi DIY for the replacement rig sa akoang kumander kay Asus M5A78L-M LX3 Plus... akoang gi upgrade ang bios para maka dagan sa FX kay at 1st , karaan man ang BIOS version nya so palit ko'g Athlon II X2 250 for the BIOS flashing... kani ra akoang gi palit kay wla'y 990FX, 990 or 970 chip set based mobo on m-ATX form factor (kani ang preferred chassis nko para dali ra pag dala sa rig. pwede ra I-hand carry)... ok ra pud ko para dili ko maka gasto for the closed lcs system kay basin mag OC2x napud ko. gasto na ug overkill na para sa intended na gamit nya... ehehehehe... bang for the money gyud ni for "Handbrake"... almost the same transcoding speed sila sa akoang i5-3570... in this application, FX is a GEM... ayayayayay...

I would gladly buy another AMD FX next time... plano ko'g FX-4300 for the next build. ngita ta'g justification napud sa gasto ani... or I might try Kaveri... hhhmmm... sounds nice... very tempting labi na, paresan ug Jonsbo UMX1 ITX chassis... hehehehe...
